My symptoms come and go throughout the day. I get very very weak and
feel like I can't even climb the stairs. My legs feel like they have
50lb weights on them. My brain gets foggy and I can't remember anything
without total concentration. My vision seems to be foggy or tunneled.
I become extremely irritable and can't tolerate noise. I can only focus
on one thing at a time and if other noises conflict I feel like I can't
think. I find if I lay down and go to sleep I am better when I get up
20 to 40 minutes later. Sometimes I have "dizzy" spells and seem to
kind of passout for a split second (never longer though). I should add
that I am VERY cautious about my foods and avoid ALL gluten. I do not
feel this is accidental gluten ingestion.

Could these symptoms be due to hypoglycemia? Is there an accurate test
for hypoglycemia or is it just the change in diet that is the
diagnosis? If there is a test - how do I convince my doc to run the
test?

Thanks,
Jill/Texas
