Dear List Mates,

Here is something nearly for everyone. For people that like to make bread, I
have a revised recipe that is pretty close to whole grain bread. I'd
forgotten about this recipe because it was stuck on Google Base which was
kind of like the closet you never open. Well, I opened it and cleaned it
out. Google Base is now a thing of the past for me, but it seemed like a
good idea at the time. This recipe is now on our website along with the
others from Google Base that I previously posted a long time ago.

Also, this is the time of year for Honey Cake. Everybody has their favorite
honey cake recipe, and we are no exception. This recipe has been handed down
as a legacy from a generation that is no longer around. It is a very rich
honey cake; therefore, it converts well to GF. Maybe even the best part is
that this is a 1-bowl cake that is both easy to make and easy to clean up.

But maybe you don't make bread or cakes but only pancakes. I found great
pancakes on the back of the Quinoa bag. Although I like quinoa as a pilaf or
in tabbouleh, quinoa cookies weren't it, and that is the opinion as well
from a celiac neighbor family! So I was looking for a good use to put to the
quinoa flour, so I tried quinoa pancakes. The quinoa pancakes were pretty
good right off of the back of the package and got way better after Hallie
and I finished tampering with the recipe. Not only are they good the first
day, they freeze and re-warm pretty close to flawlessly. Make the batch,
freeze the rest, and defrost in the toaster oven at 350 degrees for five
minutes when you want more. I think they are way better than Trader Joe's
frozen pancakes. Hope I didn't offend anyone!

Take a look at the recipes at: *http://tinyurl.com/2vdggw *or if you want
the longer version http://home.comcast.net/~vhdolcourt/gfbaking
<http://home.comcast.net/%7Evhdolcourt/gfbaking> . You'll spot the recipes
easily. They have red flags by them.

Please let me know if you have questions. If you have recipes you like
better, please post them so that we can all share.
