I just heard in the Delphi Celiac Disease forum:

that the tests they use for gluten dont detect malt.  The beer companies
like Coars and Bud say that some of their beer dont have gluten detected,
but they omit to say this fact.
We know that all those beers are flavored with malt, and all the CD
organisations that I know of say these beers are not GF, but I just
learned this interesting fact.
If anyone has back-up litterature about these tests not detecting malt, it
would be interesting if you posted it here.
