I have been following this subject with some interest since I was
diagnosed with "dry eye syndrome" by my eye doctor.  I was told this
was caused by a lack of estrogen and was common in women over 40ish.
Since going on estrogen replacement therapy, the problem has about
disappeared.  I do however get very dry  mouth which I have attributed
to enviromental conditions and alergy meds.  Now I may
wonder.....Carollee in NH
