Hi again-

Thanks to all who responded to my suggestion for cookies:
"... I put the cookies in their opened package in a big Ziploc bag with the
lemon and left them overnight. The next day the cookies were softer and
moister and had a delightful lemon flavor. Now, this wouldn't work on
something that you wouldn't want to taste like lemon, but it might work for
a lot of different things."

Several folks suggested that an apple or a piece of an apple also works,
and then you wouldn't have the lemon taste (unless, of course, you wanted
it- it was nice for the sugar cookies). I used a whole lemon- a piece
would probably work, too, if that's what you have on hand. As one person
said, you could also use an orange or a grapefruit- happy experimenting!

Mary
