Ohio Celiacs --

You have the incredible fortune of having Representatives who
sit on the House Energy and Commerce Committee (Reps. Sherrod
Brown, and Ted Strickland), which will oversee the Food
Labeling bill, AND the Chairman of the House Appropriations
Subcommittee (Rep. Ralph Regula) which decides funding levels
for the NIH ( can you say -- show US the money!).

The Cleveland Marathon has designated the Center for Celiac
Research to be one of its charity benefactors this year. It
will be very helpful for those in OHIO, or those planning to
participate in the Marathon, to send letters in support of
increased funding for celiac research at the NIH, to Chairman
Regula.

If you reside Rep. Regula's District -- go to:
wwwc.house.gov/regula/zipauth.htm and send a message
expressing concern that NIH needs to increase funding for
Celiac Disease, which is now being regarded as the most
common genetic disorder of mankind.

For those is other parts of Ohio -- go to
www.capwiz.com/celiac ; click on Elected officials; then
follow links to Ohio, and your member of Congress. Draft a
personal message, urging for greater funding for celiac
research at NIH.

After food labeling, funding for research is our highest
priority!

Make sure the Ohio Representatives hear from YOU!
