Hello, all. I can't say how thankful I am for all of the replies I have
gotten. You are all incredibly kind. And guess what? I know this seems
odd, but since my last posting I seem to have noticed somewhat of a change
in my gut (I'm keeping my fingers crossed). I no longer have to take five
or six visits to the bathroom every day. I'm getting down to between 2 or
3 and the consistency and color have changed (they still float a bit).
However, my mind has
still not completely returned from its leave of absense. I still have
trouble searching for the right words and such. Do most people notice a
difference in their gut first or a difference in their mental ability?
I really hope I'm on the right path. I'm trying not to get overly
excited as I still don't feel fantastic. I'd like to see another doctor
also. Taking the advice of some people on this list, I'd like to know if
anyone out there could recommend a doctor in the Tampa Bay area that has
some knowledge about CD. One that accepts Humana HMO might be swell
too (keep crossing those fingers, right?). Anyhow, I promise I'll
keep you posted on my progress (?) and once again, thank you. Oh, and
happy holidays too.

Mark
