Hello listers,

This is my first post to the list, but I'd like to first thank everyone
for the valuable information I've gathered so far. I'm a very recently
diagnosed celiac and although it all seems a bit overwhelming, the
information I've found here goes a long way to making it all make sense.

My question stems from two recent posts I've seen mentioning they have
received unsolicited gluten-free pretzels in the mail. Has anyone else
received gluten-free products in the mail without ordering them? Do you
know how these companies got your home address?

I just find it a bit odd that companies know A) you have celiac disease
and B) your home address.

I will summarize the results and post to the list.

Thanks in advance,

Erin in Toronto.
