Six people reported taking Sonata with NO gluten reactions.

Most, however, said Sonata did not work well for them. Three said instead
they switched to Ambien, which is also GF and doesn't give that "hungover"
feeling the next day. Another suggested using herbal teas as they had heard
that sleeping pills can be addictive. FYI, per the literature that comes with
the prescription, Sonata should not be taken for more than 2 weeks at a time
as it can be addictive.
