Has anyone ever been successful in receiving a tax deduction for gluten free
food? I realize we can only claim the dollar difference of a gf product vs.
a mainstream one. I went to an online supermarket site and made up a
shopping list of items which I purchase the gluten free version. I got out
my receipts and calculated the difference. I found $500 and that does not
include everything. I left out some specialty goodies which were quite
expensive. I realize the refund may be affected by the income level and tax
bracket. I will summarize my feedback.
