Thanks for all your speedy responses.

We just arrived in Deerfield Beach, FL and want to provide a summary for all
who plan to visit in the near future.

Cafe Arugula, Federal Hwy, near Sample Rd., Lighthouse Pt.- chef-owner has a
celiac sister. Suggested by many.  Good restaurant, in my opinion, but pricey.

Steak & Ale, Outback Steak House, Cracker Barrel, Hops are great. In Palm
Beach Gardens shopping center, Ruby Tuesdays, good and very accommodating.
Outback  Steak House and Cheesecake Factory in Boca and W. Palm Beach and
Shells has very good seafood (location not provided but check in the yellow
pages for address of the last 3, since it is a chain.)

Wild Oats Supermarket in Boca Raton near the Town Center Mall, Albertsons
supermarket in Boca (a chain that likely has good GF selection as well);
Nutrition World at 2568 PGA Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens. Also, in Coral
Springs on University there is a Whole Food Market, Nutrition World and a
bakery, "Grains of Olde"s makes GF bread on Sundays-you must call first.
Another person wrotethqt "Bread for Life" on University just north of 595 (no
location listed, but check the yellow pages whether Ft. Lauderdale or
Pompano-most likely FL.  Another good one is in front of the Galleria
shopping center at the other side of the street in Ft. Lauderdale near A1A.

In Coral Springs on University Drive, across from the Coral Square Mall,
there is a wonderful GF Health Food store called Whole Foods. It is located
on the corner of University Drive and Atlantic in Coral Springs.
