On 10 Aug 95, Daphne Panter asked:

>Just wondering if any one has checked out Ragu products in general, and
>Chicken Tonight specifically ,re whether they are gluten free?

I'm not sure about Ragu or Chicken Free specifically, however, during a telcon
on 15 Aug 95 with very helpful customer service representative, Rosalie, my
wife received information from Ragu/Chicken Tonight's parent company, Van den
Bergh, that a new spagehtti sauce that they are marketing called Five Brothers
is GF. Five Brothers is sweetened with sugar instead of corn syrup which is
great for our 2 year old daughter who is celiac and sensitive to corn products
as well.

Van den Bergh has a toll free customer service line [sorry i don't remember
the number but check the side of a jar, i believe it is on there] and a web
page whose address is: http://www.eat.com/ - While the web page doesn't
address GF issues, it is entertaining!
