Tune into your local National Public Radio station for a special on
Food Allergies tomorrow morning

On Morning Edition Friday, 8/17
Food Allergies: The FDA and food processors are both in a tizzy.
Food labels are inaccurate and often omit to mention the presence
of small amounts of potential allergens that include eggs, milk,
wheat and nuts. That's the stuff that's supposed to be there!
Additionally, food processors often have problems with cross
contamination - traces of peanuts or other potentially fatal allergens
can be transferred by using the same plant for different products.
