Celiac Sprue Association would like everyone know that they are welcome to use the services of the CSA office and website to coordinate communication of relief efforts for Celiacs affected by Katrina. CSA has received many offers of help from around the country, including offers to host families. CSA has a network of local chapters ready to help. Janet Rinehart from the Houston Chapter, and Annette Bentley of the American Celiac Society, also now in Houston, helped begin the effort.

There is a public page on CSA's website, but also some password-protected pages with details and contact information for those coordinating efforts at the scene. All Celiac organizations or other interested special needs organizations are invited to call CSA's toll-free number 1-877-272-4272 to access this information, or send an email to [log in to unmask] Encourage others to link to the web pages and post information to facilitate communication. Phone messages and postings will be monitored each day of the long weekend with postings accordingly.
