Yesterday I held a Pampered Chef party at my home, after educating the
representative about celiac disease and the gluten free lifestyle. She
did a demonstration of preparing a meal, and another celiac
demonstrated how to roll out a successful gf pie crust.

There were about 20 celiac members here, including some newly
diagnosed. Three of our group had test-driven the toaster bags
(mentioned by Heather in a previous post today) just so they could
report to the rest of us. All gave it high remarks. Besides the usual
results, regarding travel and sticky sandwiches, one celiac told us that
it was great when you are trying to toast gf bread that is rather
crumbly. Instead of digging toasted and burnt crumbs out of the
toaster, you just pull the bag out. Also, some bread is not as tall as
the toaster, so this bag makes it possible to get it out.

These bags can be ordered from La Donna Riley, a Pampered Chef
representative in San Antonio, Texas at 210 408-2768 or e-mail her at
[log in to unmask] La Donna is excited to hear the buzz about
them! Our Pampered Chef party was enjoyed by all, and now that we cook
more often, we found new products to make our jobs easier.

It was a lot of fun to go to a gathering and be able to eat everything
that was offered!

Hope you all find these toaster bags as useful as we have.
