I found some interesting websites with unique information you usually don't
find on this diffucult subject.  These sites offer solutions for those who
with severe constipation that doesn't readily respond to conventional

The first one deals with an overview of the many causes & treatments for
this problem.  I highly recommend this website as it contains information
that can't be found anywhere else.  It also has some amazing full color
illustrations.  It's not one of those typical commercial sites selling
herbal laxatives, "colon cleansers" & the like.  It's full of solid
information, explanations & recommendations given by an MD in N. Carolina
who specializes in treating constipation.  His very effective approach is
refreshing, effective and unfortunately not well known or widely practiced.
And guess what? this doctor doesn't label you a nut case because you are
constipated!

This site describes a promising new devise, a bowel pacemaker (same concept
as heart pacemakers) that has shown promise in clinical trials in Egypt.
