Dear Friends,
We hope you are all enjoying your 4th of July holiday. We are very proud
to announce that, we are exactly what we have professed since our
inception, Certified by the Celiac Sprue Association (CSA) Gluten Free.
There was a vast amount of paperwork for us to fill out from proving our
facility was in fact 100% Gluten Free. To also proving all of our raw
product was indeed 100% Gluten Free, and our packaging was also 100%
Gluten Free. Then we needed to send in sample products that were in turn
tested at the University of Nebraska for the slightest amount of Gluten.
Well, of course, since we do not allow even the slightest amount of Gluten
into our building, we passed with flying colors and now proudly carry the
CSA Gluten Free certification stamp on all of our products. We say, hats
off to CSA for creating this program. We feel all Gluten Free
manufacturers should also carry the certification stamp. What better way
to assure you all that what you are eating is truly Gluten Free and not
Gluten reduced. We will go as far as challenging all the Gluten Free Food
producers out there to comply with the CSA regulations and pass their
certification. Why Not? Wouldn't everyone feel better knowing that what
they were eating was truly 100% Gluten Free? We know we would. We feel
therw should even be more restrictions to the testing but we are
proceeding to work with CSA on those. Please remember NO Wheat, Oats,
Barley, Rye and standard salt in your diet. We have seen where we have
been questioned on why we do not use standard salt on many web sites. The
reason is, unless the salt is pure it contains a anti-caking agent
commonly called Calcium Cilicate. Calcium Cilicate is not an FDA approved
ingredient. Calcium Cilicate is listed in the Medical books as a bowel and
intestinal irritant. Is that what you need to ingest? Also many people
question Soy. Soy is a very hard product to work with so it is commonly
mixed with either wheat or rice so it can be handled. Do you want to take
the chance on what it was mixed with? All in all we are so very happy to
serve you all and please visit our website at www.grandmaferdons.com to
view all we have to offer or feel free fre to contact us at

person with this information. Take care and God Bless you all.We are
