Hello, my name is Mary Blymire. Pleased to "meet" you. I am 52 years old
and have just been diagnosed with Celiac's Disease by blood work and am
scheduled to have a confirming small intestine biopsy 4/13/00. I am to
continue eating gluten until the biopsy ... yuch.

This is my first post. I need to hear good news about the future from
others around my age when diagnosed. I feel very blessed to have been
diagnosed. Actually my new boss is the one who told me to request the
test. His background was in microbiology. Amazing luck ... he moved
across country to arrive where I work!

Your positive reinforcement relative to prognosis, etc. will be greatly
appreciated. I am also interested in a support group in the south-central
PA area.

Thanks. Mary B.
