Dear Listmates -
Interesting comments and questions received on this.
One listmate said I should call the company first and see if the
products really present a problem. I didn't, but putting a fork in
my mouth made from wheat, or handling copy paper made from
wheat, isn't something that I would do.

Several asked if it is really a problem. Another emailed the prices of
the biodegradable, wheat-based products, and the price is so high that
it isn't likely that any of us is every going to encounter it! Schools and
fast-food places have a budget, and the extremely expensive, wheat-
based cutlery and copy paper sure wouldn't fit in with most places'
budgets...
...So we probably don't have to worry. The cost of the products means
we aren't likely to come across them , anyway.

Vicki
