Wow! This guy is dangerous!

I'm not a doctor, but why would you even put yourself through a
biopsy if you're feeling fine and your blood tests are OK.

As to the diet - how do you maintain "80%" vs "100%". I'm not a fanatic
on the diet (as a matter of fact I follow the Canadian Diet), but I've
never knowingly cheated (knowing it would make me ill). I travel and
eat out a lot and consequently have more than my share of getting
"dosed". I do take my Immodium (per instructions on the box - not on a
daily basis) to stop the diarrhea that happens and try not to make that
mistake again.

Please do yourself a favor and tell this guy, that you will find another
doctor who will take this dangerous disease you have seriously. The best
part of having this disease (silver lining talk) is that you only have
to follow the diet as practically as you can to be healthy. NO DRUGS, NO
MEDICINE, NO THERAPY, NO OPERATIONS, just a diet we all can live with
and be healthy.

I truly feel you should divulge the name of this doctor and have some
medical literature sent to him by someone knowledgable. Let the rest of
the Celiac community see just how ignorant and dangerous a medical
professional can be regarding Celiac disease.
