I had a terrible experience after eating ground turkey, kidney beans and soy
cheese. About 30 minutes after eating, I had diarrhea, felt exremely hot,
sweat began pouring off of me, my hands and the bottom of my feet turned very
red and itched like crazy, and i nearly fainted a couple of times. I have
never had a reaction to anything like this - except when I used to eat
shellfish - my hands would itch a little. I called the manufacturers of the
turkey, and they only process chicken and turkey at their plant, and assured
me that the only thing they may add to the meat is oregano or rosemary.
Could it be that my immune system has been so badly affected by the antigens
that bacteria can cause me to have a reaction like this?
