I am just curious how many of you out there are familiar with this genetic defect?  I have been told that it is seen frequently with Celiac and/or Hashimoto's Disease and that it is important to take Folate in the Metafolin form in order for it to be digested properly.
Have any of you put your children on Methyl Folate?
