Hi List,

Does anyone know if there is some type of connection between Diverticultis
and Celiac?

I have been diagnosed with Celiac for about two years now. Three females on
my mothers sode of the family have been diagnosed with Diverticultis within
the past year or so.They all had symtoms and all went through a
sigmoidoscopy. I just find it odd that they were diagnosed with Divers and
I with celiac.I know it's common for the age group of 60-80 years of age.

But I wonder. I dont recall seeing Diversticulitis as one of the many other
things celiacs get.

Kim
