Thanks so much to all who responded. You were very helpful. Here goes...

Looks like Gluten-Free Pantry's Favorite Sandwich Bread mix is used my most
of you. (www.glutenfree.com or 800-291-8386)

A few of you said Bette Hagman's newest book, "The Gluten-Free Gourmet Bakes
Bread," contains a good 4-flour bread mix that has a wonderful texture and
tastes close to "real" white bread. One person even said her husband is the
Celiac, but she and kids have gone gf at home to protect him from
cross-contamination. That means they can eat wheat but would rather eat the
4-flour bread!!!

Also from Bette Hagman's book, "The Gluten-Free Gourmet Cooks Fast and
Healthy," there is a Cornstarch Bread recipe that tastes and has texture
close to white bread. One person even made hamburger buns from this recipe
and said it came out very well - the best bun she's had since last May! (her
diagnosis)

Some of you use Miss Roben's - white sandwich bread mix and dinner bread mix,
no bread machine required...pizza crust mix is good too!

A mix from Cause You're Special Co. Gluten Free, Wheat Free Bakery Mixes
tastes just like real (gluten) homemade bread. It's awsome!

A few of you who bake from scratch (such as from Bette Hagman's books) order
flours from Authentic Foods (www.authenticfoods.com)
