Thank you to all that responded to my email.

I had a overwhelming response stating that McCann's Oat Bran seems to be
safe.  Some said there is no guarantee it is gluten free... but not  one person
stated they had a bad reaction.  All said they eat it  with no problems at all!
 Bottom line is, it is up to the  individual.   A few people noted to watch
for a Canadian company at _http://creamhillestates.com_
(http://creamhillestates.com)  - apparently  their product is not available yet, but it seems to be a
Guaranteed Gluten Free  Oat product.
