Hi listmates,

I will be spending about a week in Birmingham, Alabama, starting 27th
December as  my brother-in-law's wedding is to take place there.  I have
searched the archives and found very few postings (and none recent) relating
to Alabama. Also the contacts given in the Support Groups file do not have
email addresses listed.

I have visited the US before, but not Alabama or anywhere in the South.   I
will bring some GF supplies with me, but any advice, in particular relating
to eating out, local GF choices, local dishes to avoid etc. would be
appreciated.  I'm also a vegetarian, so please bear that in mind if sending
any restaurant suggestions.

All advice will be much appreciated.
