Hello again everyone!

I wrote a while back that since going GF I had major problems with
Hemorroids. I asked for suggestions and let everyone know that I was going
to go to the doctor as a follow up. A few people asked me to let them know
what my doctor suggested I do for this.

Well, turns out I don't have Hemorroids at all. Which surprised me. I had
all the classic symptoms.

Basically, the doctor (I had to see a colon/rectal specialist) told me that
due to the 20+ years of dealing with my celiac symptoms (diarrea mainly),
the muscle inside my rectum had gotten way too big. So, now that I'm GF and
having regular bowel movements, the muscle has made it too small and well,
it was starting to push some of that muscle outside my body.

So, to make a long story short, I am going in for surgery in late April to
have it repaired. Turns out this is relatively common and I'll only be in
the hospital for a half day, recover over the weekend and be back at work on
Monday. My doctor also said that my symptoms won't come back after the
surgery. WHOOHOO!

Just thought I'd let everyone know what was going on. Thank you all so much
for all your suggestions!!
