With all this talk about dieticians I had to tell this that happened to
me just yesterday.

The dietician called (I have surgery on Monday) and she seemed to know
so much about the gluten free diet. I was impressed. She said the
kitchen would make me mashed potatoes from scratch, meat would be cooked
separately, no processed foods. I was smiling from ear to ear thinking
"Yes!! she has a clue."

THEN she asked me if I liked Chicken Salad Sandwiches for lunch!!!
ARGH!!!!! I told her I would skip that one. It was clear to me then
that she had just looked up what Celiac Sprue was and hadn't had any
practical applications with the diet. Oh well.

Thankfully my mother will be here to cook all my meals:)
