Still waiting to hear from a couple of brands, but here is 
what I have so far--my comments in parenthesis.
1. Vinegar in Heinz is not gf.
2. Hy Vee has a 12 Oz. chili sauce.
3. Heinz and Del Monte not gf. (Per my phone call of today, rep said that Del Monte is gluten free).
4. Last time this person checked, Great Value brand --Walmart brand is gf.
5. (Kroger checks for allergens, but doesn't include barley, rye, oats & malt.  They are currently checking on the natural flavorings for me--they leave it up to the consumer to decide about the vinegar in their chili sauce--still awaiting their response on the natural flavorings).
6. CSA only lists Sweet Red Chili Sauce by Taste of Thai.
7. One stated they use Kroger with no problems. Kroger told them in the past it is gf. Vinegar - distilled or not should not be a problem.
8. Several are listed at Delphiforums.
9. S & W has a  gf chili sauce.
10. Dominicks Brand - part of Safeway Stores and made by Red Gold- claim all of their products are gf. ( I called Red Gold and they said theirs is gf and is under Red Gold label. If you live in Indiana, no stores carry it, but you could pick some up in Elwood at their plant.  They do not ship).
11. One person uses Heinz with no problems.

I received 2 recipes if anyone is interested.  Looks as though there are several commercial brands to choose from.
