Hi friends. Just thought I'd pass on a little information I recently received. I inquired as to the gluten status of the Great Value (Wal-Mart's in-house brand) yogurt, and I was asked for the zip code of the store in which I shop. I replied by asking if different manufacturers supply products to different stores based on geographical location, and I was told that that is true. It happens that in my area, south-central Virginia, the GV yogurt is NOT gluten free, (and probably neither is the GV ricotta cheese). Be careful - carefully check all information regarding gluten free Great Value products, and make sure that your shopping location is served by appropriate suppliers and products.
The person to contact for GV information at Wal-Mart is: [log in to unmask] Please don't forget the dot between the first and last names. Kerry was very cooperative and helpful. Wal-Mart's toll free number is 800 Walmart. Kerry has a direct line, but since it is not toll free, I did not include it. If you would like it, please ask me or ask when you call the 800 number.
Peace & Harmony,
Milt
