London:
Cottos Italian Restaurant. Pizza, pasta and desserts. The owner is celiac and so sweet. http://www.italiancotto.co.uk/
We grabbed our lunch at Pret a Manger http://www.pret.com/us/?site=us where you can find breadless sandwiches labeled with all ingredients.
We also bought food at Harrods - beautiful selection of anything you can think of.
Finally, we had tea at Claridges. If you make reservations ahead of time (prob the only way to do it) they will make you gf everything = sandwiches, croissants and desserts. It's expensive but also once in a lifetime experience.

Brixton Market is not on many people's maps but the burger/buns/chips at
Honest Burger are worth the excursion. In that same market is a GF bakery too.
***
Whole Foods has a wonderful GF selection. Any supermarket has "free from"
products. I love Dove Farms self rising flour and I bring bags home!
***
You might want to try high tea. Our favorite was Claridges. You will
wonder why we can't get service like this in the US!
***
Lots of Wagamama fans- I am not one.
***
Borough Market is also fun- a GF bakery has a stand- wonderful products
and completely different than we get here in the states.***
check out Magazine Easy Eats, issue from Summer 2010

My gluten free daughter was in London earlier this summer and had good experiences at Tasca (chain), Byron Burger (chain), Cote (chain), Leon
(chain) and Carluccis (chain). We also had gluten free fish and chips at the restaurant in Leicester Square that used to be called the
Mermaids Tale. It has changed its name to something I can't remember, but the address is the same, and they still serve gluten free fish and chips.
She also had a gluten free tea at a bakery/ cafe in West Hampstead called Bake a Boo, http://www.bake-a-boo.com/ you need to reserve in
advance. The fancy hotels also do gluten free teas, but this was much less expensive. She was also sometimes able to find gluten free sandwiches at Starbucks.
***
We enjoyed an English tea at Fortnum and Mason in London. The formal restaurant in the store offers a full tea service that is GF.
***
