Just to make it really clear --
I saw an optometrist years ago; she told me I was farsighted, she said I
wasn't noticinga problem reading because of kind of clenching my eyes.
and since avoiding all those foods,I have been having farsighted type
trouble reading.  I went off to see an optometrist, he diagnosed about the
same amount of farsightedness.

So that's why I think it's a result of food avoidance rather than "just
what normally happens when you reach 40".
