HI,

I hope you guys can help me out here. My 3 year old son will be
starting preschool for the very first time in a week. I recently spoke
with his teacher regarding my concerns about how his snacks and lunches
will be handled. She mentioned that they do frequently bake cookies and
muffins as a class activity. Of course I was not happy to hear this. I
don't want my son to feel excluded because he's the only one in the
class that cannot have wheat products. And I feel kind of funny asking
the teacher to prepare a whole different recipe just because of my son.
(he is also egg and dairy free)

How do you guys handle situations like this? His teacher has already
agreed to make the playdough with rice flour but I'm not sure I can ask
her to change everything else...am I wrong in thinking this way? I sure
don't want my son to feel singled out for anything.

I'd be glad to summarize if you'd like.

Thanks!
