Summary as follows:
1) Referred me to the Iowa City Support Group

2) Taste of China--amenable to  celiacs
3) Thai Spice on Gilbert Street
4) Atlas--downtown-spicy carribean steak--one said they 
    a seperate gf menu
5) Restaurant called 126 (downtown) supposed to be good.
6) On the Pedestrian Mall is Giovannis or Givannis.  The   
    local celiac group ate there.  If you call ahead they  
    might do gf pasta, but there are other entrees to order.
7) Mondos has a big menu. Good dinner/entree salads. 
    Salmon and club salad is good-leave off bread.
8) The Union (Iowa House Hotel) One thought they had a
     grill upstairs and made eggs to order.  Also have fruit 
     yogurt.
9)Sheraton has coffee shop for fruit and yogurt.
10) Biaggis in Cedar Rapids
11) Lonestar
12) Iowa River and Power Company--big menu and nice 
      salad bar.
13) One had been told that Atlas World Grille on Iowa Ave.
      had gf menu.
