Thank you all for responding. Someone said they had recently talked
with them & the phone number was the same one I had tried. Sure
enough I called again and got through. The two gravies I had
questioned ( beef & turkey) are gluten free. Here's what one ListServ
member wrote:

"I got a hold of them today. They confirmed that the beef, turkey
AND chicken is GF. I find it hard to believe that the chicken gravy
is GF because it said it had WHEAT right on the label. She said it
was wheat fiber and not wheat protein so it's GF. I've never heard of
such a thing. The ingredients in the beef and chicken don't say
WHEAT on them."

I also asked about the wheat fiber and was told the same thing:
because it doesn't contain wheat proteins it is gluten free. Maybe
someone else on the ListServ can explain why this is true.

Another response I received:

"I saw one recently & it had wheat fiber listed on the label. If
it's got wheat on the label, it's not going into my body. Buying
that would encourage them to continue using it...If they want my $$,
their definition of gluten-free must also wheat-free."

Thanks again to all.
