Whitwave's web page, www.whitewave.com lists the following in the FAQ
section regarding the gluten content of Silk soy beverage:

"Is Silk soymilk considered gluten-free?

Silk Organic Plain (red carton) is gluten free. The Vanilla (blue
carton) and the Chocolate (brown
carton) use an alcohol based vanilla flavor made from wheat and are not
considered gluten free."

I have written them about this conflicting information and will pos
their reply here.
