We are blessed to have the internet and this wonderful group. Our family owes our ever improving lives to this list.

I was totally at a loss as to how to implement a GF diet for my son without a diagnoses of anyone in the family.

The main suggestion was that we should start by keeping just home totally GF, no pressure, no fuss..We have. He got up this Monday morning without a stomach ache for the first time even though he hadn't finished all of his homework.

He started having terrible ,smelly gas by Tuesday,, he he. He eats gluten at school.

The diet is affordible because everyone in my family eats the same thing now.I was cooking separate meals for me and them and buying lots of expensive microwave stuff so I didn't have to cook so much. It's much more relaxed not having to worry about cross contamination .We got some great recipes too.

We got bored tonight so we decided to go to the health food store to get some GF brownie mix. I showed him all the GF stuff and he looked a lot on his own too. He put me in shock because they had some samples out. He loves to get samples at the bakery at our grocery store. One sample was GF so I tried it and so did he.The other one was questionable . He lifted the lid, then put it down on his own! I told him not to worry since he was eating gluten at school. I can't believe he's already self monitoring!

Thank you,

Monica,KY
