Awhile back, I wrote about symptoms my husband had, continually clearing his
throat and coughing.  I received many responses and was told to have him get
to the doctor.  He's been to two doctors and they told him he has acid
reflux. (They didn't run any tests on him, just looked down his throat and
x-rays were taken.) Is this the same thing as Gerd?  I looked it up on the
Internet and the main symptom was heart burn, which he doesn't have.  He just
feels like there is something in his throat that won't come out. Does anyone
with this disease  (Gerd) have these symptoms.  Would greatly appreciate any
more advice
