Hello,

I wrote recently about a bad hospital experience
regarding food. I received quite a few emails about
similar experiences, and a couple of emails about good
experiences.

I got the general impression that depending on
relatives for our food is the wisest choice, if
necessary, which I did. Perhaps its difficult to
remember that our gluten free world is necessary for
really quite a small percentage of the population.
I feel so grateful, however, for our admittedly
strained medical system - a system that fixed me up
on a Sunday afternoon at 4:00, my two pieces of bone
put together by a man I never met, anesthesia
delivered by another stranger, and here I am now with
a leg that will work in the future, and it does seem
like a miracle to me.

Karen V.
