It's Mexican Fiesta time at Gluten-Free Trading Company!  The holiday
of Cinco De Mayo (the Fifth of May) commemorates the victory of the
Mexicans over the French army at The Battle Of Puebla in 1862.  The
victory was a surprise:  a poorly-armed group of about 4500 Mexican
fighters led by General Ignacio Zaragoza was pitted against about
6500 well-equipped French soldiers.   The May 5th victory temporarily
halted French emperor Napoleon III's attempt to colonize Mexico.
