Hi to the List and to Folks from Central NJ in particular,

Before going gf earlier in the year, I used to enjoy eating out at
Mexican restaurants a lot. I enjoy eating the Amy's dishes at home, but sometimes
I'd like to eat out as well. From reading the posts on this group, I have heard
that Chi Chi's really doesn't have much in terms of Mexican food which is gf.
We stopped earlier today at Jose Tejas in Woodbrige, and I asked to speak to
the manager to see if any of their dishes are gf. None of their traditional
Mexican dishes are gf. they are flour-based, not corn based.

Does anyone in the Central NJ area have any Mexican restaurants to
recommend, especially where the traditional Mexican dishes are corn based. If I can
only eat a steak or a hamburger at a Mexican restaurant, then I don't feel
it's worth the trip going there.

   Thanks in advance,
Amy Kravitz [log in to unmask]
