Hello,

I disagree with the listing of Nature's Path in Janice's message
regarding shared facilities. I have called Nature's Path to ask why
cereals that should obviously be gluten-free, like Corn Puffs and Rice
Puffs, are not listed as gluten-free by their company. i was told that
those two cereals are produced on lines in area of one of their
facilities that also processes gluten-containing foods, thus can not be
certified as gluten-free. The items they do call gluten-free ARE
produced in isolated production areas. I feel 110% confident
purchasing Nature's Path gluten-free products, whether produced in
Canada or the U.S. I have no financial interest in Nature's Path, even
though I should consider it with the amount of their products I buy!
In addition, I can think of other products prepared in gluten-free
facilities that were not listed, so be sure you verify each person's
opinions (including mine) for yourself and your situation.
