I received a lot of replies and 90 % said that McDonald's uses a dedicated fryer for french fries but to ask if the particular one I go to does that.  I had about 20 replies with the same advise.

About 4 people said that it was not worth taking the chance.

About 3 people said they got sick.

A few people said sometimes the kids don't know and say OK when they are not really sure.

I want to thank everyone for your support and hope I can do the same to help fellow celiacs.
