I am new to the mailing list so forgive me if this has been discussed in 
the past.

I wanted to ask if anyone had experienced arthritis-type symptoms 
associated with Celiac Disease?  My mother who is in her 60's retired last 
year from 30 years of being a very energetic, active, kindergarten 
teacher, to not being able to walk well at all, only 8 months after 
retirement.  She has terrible pain and stiffness especially in her knees 
and feet.  Rheumatoid arthritis has been ruled out.  Does anyone have any 
thoughts, suggestions, or doctors in the Katy/Houston area?
She has been tested by Dr. Fine since three people in my family have CD. 
The testing showed she was gluten intollerant.  She has been on the GF 
diet for about a month with no favorable results at all.
