Dear Listmates:

I recently had fasting blood tests done to establish a baseline for
cholesterol and glucose. In the metabolic panel there are three result
which are high, the total bilirubin (1.3, range from 0-1.2), the AST (53,
range 14-36), and the ALT (70, range 9-52). I am taking actonel and my dr
said it could be a side effect of the actonel. But he also had additional
blood drawn for viral hepititis. Do any of you know anything about either
these tests/results or viral hepititis? I am a bit worried about this, and
my dr. didn't offer any additional information for me to go on. Thanks.
