Hi, all!

Recently, someone brought up the issue of Grainaissance brand of mochi
being possibly contaminated since one of the flavors contained oat flour.
I checked with Madeline Rose, general manager of the company, and she
said that all the mochis are gf except for the cashew-date, since the
dates are coated with oat flour. BUT, she stated that all of the gf
varieties are made first, then the cashew-date. The equipment is then
cleaned thoroughly before the next day production.

Has anyone had a problem with this brand of mochi? I just bought the
cinnamon raisin and was going to try it, after talking with Ms. Rose.

You can contact the company at (510)547-7256

Thanks for any info you can pass on to me! Christie in TX
