I've received a great load of replies to my mail. I really enjoy reading all
those commentaries. Over all the messages, only one person told me it could
be tricky to drink Pepsi or CocaCola, and it was without being very sure.
Some told me they are VERY sensitive to gluten and they don't have any
reaction with Coke or Pepsi. I've also received many mails telling me about
other soft drinks which would be GF. This is the list I got:

- Pepsi
- CocaCola
- 7-Up
- Sprite
- DrPepper
- Diet Pepsi
- Diet 7-Up
- Diet DrPepper
- Diet Coke
- Diet Sprite
- Vanilla DrPepper
- Shasta

The caramel color would come from corn. In fact, all the Pepsi and CocaCola
products in USA would be GF APART FROM ROOT BEER WHICH IS NOT GLUTEN FREE
(unless specified). So avoid Root Beer. Some orange soda (as some other
fruit soda) might contain modified starch which is not defined. No
confirmation for Mountain Dew, but may be GF since it's not root beer.

It seems that there would be a brand called "Blue Sky" which would be GF.
Never heard of it and never tried, but if I ever find it and try it, I'll
make a follow up on the list. It could be found at Whole Foods markets
around the USA.

The only problem with soda is that it's seems to be fattening. So I'll have
to use a little more my bicycle... And for those who don't enjoy having
soda, just remember that it's not what you have, but the quantity. Chips
with soda once in a blue moon is ok as long as you drink enough water
everyday and you have a proper food inhabit. I eat loads of veggies, and I
follow the Canadian Food Guide for good health, but it's always good to
treat myself at some occasions... Never forget to enjoy life!

Hope it'll help some people... For more information, here's a quote from Tom
of The Coca-Cola Company sent to me by Grace Johnson:
