My son has developed a lump in the inside wall of his cheek and the doctor
is sending him to a pathologist to have it aspirated. He thinks it is a
salivary gland cyst.

When I did a little research, I came up a variety of possibilities
including Sjögren's syndrome, which is an autoimmune disease affecting the
salivary glands and tear ducts, and which has been discussed on this list.

Can anyone tell me if cysts are common with Sjögren's syndrome, or is this
something else entirely?
