I received some disturbing news last Friday. Since I was diagnosed with
Celiac 5 years ago I have been consuming Wyders Pear and Apple Cider as if
I was back at Chico State drinking beer. I have seen in various gluten
free listings that it was in fact gluten free. I have been having stomach
problems for a while, pain on my right side and now that I have to undergo
another endoscopy I started freaking out and calling a bunch of
manufacturers of food I frequently eat. I called Wyders, some girl answered
who had to check on it, and came back to the phone and said "Don't drink
it, it is NOT gluten free". Lovely. She could not tell me why either. I
just wanted you all to have a heads up, since probably many of you drink it
too. I will try to find out what the exact problem with it is. I am so
bummed! Does anyone know of any cider I can drink?
