I've had many replies and answers to my question regarding Fleischmann's 
unsalted Pareve margarine that it is indeed lactose free and also that 
when you see the word Pareve it means there is no dairy.
Other spreads to use:
Smart Balance Light is dairy free
Willow Run by Shedds is GF
Mothers Margarine is dairy free
Earth Balance is dairy Free and preferred by many as the best.
I can add one other as a spread that is GF and dairy free according to 
my calling the company and that is Benecol in the light tub.
